This year the annual Akhanda Bhajan (24 hour non-stop Bhajan)
will start at 6:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 13, 1999 and end at
6:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 14, 1999. Sai
Darshan is pleased to present devotees with some

Bhajans and what we can accomplish with community singing.

On November 7, 1999 we celebrate Deepavali,
the festival of lights. People celebrate this festival by
lighting arrays of lamps and bursting firecrackers, signifying the
victory of good over evil. Bhagavan Baba has spoken about the
inner significance of this very important festival on a number of

Dasara is a ten day festival
that begins with the first day of the month of Aashvayuja
in the Lunar calendar. The first nine nights,
Devi Navaraatri, are dedicated to the maternal feminine
Shakti aspect of the Divine. The tenth day is Vijaya Dasami,
commemorating the day that Rama achieved victory over Ravana. This year,
Dasara is being celebrated
from October 10, 1999 to October 19, 1999. Bhagavan Baba has spoken
about the inner significance of this very important festival
on a number of occasions. Sai Darshan is happy to share some of these

Due to a server reconfiguration by our web hosting service, cgi scripts for

and others were not working. We are modifying these scripts. We regret the inconvenience,
and hope to have these working soon.

The slokas are grouped based on the aspect of Divinity (God or Goddess) to

at a future date.

The menubar at the bottom of the window has been redesigned to include
more selections, allowing access to popular
pages directly. A few items (Divine Discourses and Slide Shows)
have floating menus attached to them. These dynamic menus come up
when you click on them, and further choices can be made within the
menu item. For example, you can click on
Slide Shows and choose
Lingodbhavam from the floating menu. You will need a browser
version 4.0 or higher for this feature.
